Are you interested in getting to know the Impressionist artist Claude Monet?

The A. G. Leventis Gallery’s museum educator, Theodora Demetriou, invites you to travel with her to Claude Monet’s magical world. Through story telling we will learn about his life, how he decided to become an artist and his love of nature! Following that, we will observe and ‘feel’ Monet’s painting in a mindful way... And after we observe, ‘feel’ and talk about the painting, we will create our own unique artworks. And what will be so special about our paintings? Like Monet, who captured images from nature, so will we. We will walk together and paint images that we observe around us, with quick, small brushstrokes, just like our painter did!
