A Fox at the A. G. Leventis Gallery!

Experiential Workshop No. 1 – ‘Ah dear fox, what have you done to me!’

What is fairness and what is unfairness? Putting yourself in someone else’s shoes – based on three paintings by Telemachos Kanthos, View towards Morphou from Fteriki, Alona, Ravine II – Morning and Blossoming Trees.

The suggested workshops combine the principles of Philosophy for Children (P4C), storytelling, drama techniques, music, and visual arts. More specifically, through role-play children explore
 philosophical concepts in a creative and interactive way, that promotes the unfolding of feelings and emotional concerns. During this process, children have the opportunity to talk freely about their dreams and beliefs, express themselves through self-awareness games, artistic creation, theatrical manners of expression, music and movement exercises. All voices are heard and valued, and children get to understand the importance of justifying their personal positions/opinions and how to listen and disagree respectfully. This approach increases their tolerance of diversity of opinion and 
resilience and enhances critical thinking and self-reflection.
