The first film-manifesto of today's female artistic voice

On the occasion of the "World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development", the film Womanifesto I & II, conceived and directed by Efi Spyrou, produced by RUNONART MKO, will be screened.

30 female creators from Greece, Cyprus and Israel.
30 manifesto against the challenges of the times.

“..WOMANIFESTO is sparked and fueled by the female artistic voice of today but supported and developed by a large interdisciplinary family. It reminds and resets the basis for our common history which is none other than the values of democracy and freedom. In a greenhouse like the one in which the film is filmed, each sprout, each voice can be born, nurtured, developed, exist and coexist with other voices in an environment characterized by diversity and sustainability. The artists ask questions about our origins, our humanity, memory and loss, power, environment, land and language, the Other-the unknown or the familiar, trauma and liberation, coexistence…"

In WOMANIFESTO II, the creators: Tamar Raban (Israel), Enact Theater [Elena Kallinikou & Marina Makri], Lia Haraki, Naya T. Karakosta, (Cyprus) and the creators Artemis Panagiotidou, Eleftheria Kazana, Eri Dimitriadis, Eleni Panouklia, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou, Maria Papafigou, Maria Siorba, Maria Papapostolou & Natasha Biza and Stavroula Siamou (Greece)

WOMANIFESTO I & II was held with the financial support and patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece, A.G. Leventiou Gallery & A. G. Leventis Foundation, Ministry of Justice and Public Order - National Mechanism for Women's Rights EMDR, Cyprus, Assaf Burstein and Efi Spyrou.

The long-term goal is for the action to act as an invitation, a challenge to be able to expand by adding artistic manifestos from all over the world so that the dialogue transcends borders and there is the first mosaic film-manifesto of the female voice in the history of art. Visual artist/director Efi Spyrou and artists Lia Haraki and Marina Makri will attend the screening.
