DJ set of ambient music from Alysidez (Sayia, Adroula, dj harama)

It has been proven that a visit to a museum can greatly improve the quality of our lives, but also help with our mental and physical health. The same thing happens when we listen to music. Other than music being entertainment, listening to it is known to have incredibly positive effects on our mind and well-being. More specifically, music can influence the way we act, feel and think. It can affect our thoughts, our feelings and our behaviour. While listening to music, our brain triggers specific emotions, memories and thoughts, which often lead to more positive outcomes in terms of our mental health.

On the occasion of International Museum Day 2023, for which this year’s theme is ‘Museums, Sustainability and Well-being’, the A. G. Leventis Gallery is inviting Alysidez to play a three-hour DJ set of ambient music in the temporary exhibition "Myth Unbound: Ariadne – Andromeda".

On 18 May art meets music with the ultimate goal of helping us to relax, calm down and forget everything that troubles us!
