On 31 January 2018, a book by George Haritonidis ‘Anevas kai Katevas’ published by Kedros, 2014, is presented at the Constantine Leventis Auditorium, A. G. Leventis Gallery.
The event is in memory of Niki Marangou.
The metaphysical link of the book will be developed by Constantis Cantounas as a speaker. Speakers also include the poets Alexandra Galanou and Athena Temvriou. The event will be co-ordinated by the poet Lili Michailidou.
From the back of the book:
George, a former employee of the Evangelismos hospital, left Athens shortly before the great financial crisis broke out. He returned to the city for a short while when the crisis reaches its pick, and is affected by the consequences. Little experiential stories, one being the continuation of the other, merging today with the post-modern Athens, a period when the writer came to the city as a refugee from Cyprus.
