He studied at the Athens School of Arts (1892-1897) and the Munich Academy (1897-1900). He visited Florence and in 1901 returned toAthens, where he pursued lithography, cartoons and illustration. His landscapes and mostly humorous portraits, as well as his religious and Symbolist works, make up the body of his work, which is markedby the influence of German Jugendstil.
