11-04-2025 to 21-05-2025
The A. G. Leventis Gallery is organising a photography competition on the occasion of the temporary exhibition Look at Me! Portraits in Greece by Robert A. McCabe and in celebration of International Museum Day 2025 with the theme ‘The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities’.
Over the past decades Cyprus has undergone significant demographic changes, reflecting the dynamics of an increasingly interconnected world. This evolution raises an important question: who are the people of Cyprus today?
The A. G. Leventis Gallery invites amateur photography enthusiasts, aged 15 and above, to participate in a competition that seeks to capture the faces that shape our island’s diverse social landscape. Using a camera or a mobile phone, participants are encouraged to explore themes related to identity, multiculturalism and coexistence, creating a visual narrative of Cyprus’s cultural diversity.
Competition start date: April 11th 2025
Submission deadline: May 21st 2025
Winners will be notified personally one week after the competition ends, followed by an official announcement in June 2025.
