On the occasion of International Museum Day “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”, the A. G. Leventis Gallery provides a platform to the general public by offering an interactive space for expression to its visitors. With a simple gesture, a message on the wall, visitors may voice their concerns, leaving their thoughts and messages about sustainability and the protection of the environment.

The purpose of this interactive wall is to raise public awareness and develop critical thinking about what we can do as individuals, or as a whole, to protect our preciousplanet. In a society that is constantly changing and a planet that is being ravaged, the museum becomes a space for dialogue, reflection and expression for each visitor. After all, any change depends on us both as individuals as well as a group.

Instructions:
On a piece of paper or using artworks from the A. G. Leventis Gallery collections visitors are invited to express themselves, by writing, drawing or crafting their messages regarding the following questions:
/ What has led to climate change, how can I as an individual help?
/ In a changing world, what must we preserve?
/ What does environmental destruction mean to me?
/ What does a perfect future look like in which people live in harmony with nature?
/ What will the world look like in 20 years?

Our aim is to create α collage of collective thoughts on the preservation of the environment for our future generations.
