Carnival Workshop:
'A Trip to Venice through Art!'

The carnival is right around the corner! How about celebrating it together with a trip to beautiful Venice? The paintings of the A. G. Leventis Gallery Paris Collection will help us to get to know this magical city. We will learn about its gondolas through the artworks of Giacomo Guardi and about Venice’s magical carnival through the colourful painting by Eugène Lami.

During the second part of the workshop, we will create our own unique carnival mask in Renoir’s Workshop. A square cardboard box and our imagination will guide us to make our own special character, who will come alive when we wear our masks at the end of the workshop!
