On the occasion of this year’s International Museum Day theme, ‘Museums, Sustainability and Well-being’, the A. G. Leventis Gallery is organising a free experiential workshop on the theme of ‘Body Mapping and the Role of Nature and Art in Well-being’.
Through a guided tour of selected artworks in the Collections of the A. G. Leventis Gallery, participants will discuss climate change and how it affects our physical and mental health.
The guided tour will be followed by a creative workshop that aims to identify collective challenges and explore how the relationship between art and nature can work in a therapeutic manner for the body, soul and mind.
This programme is a collaboration between the A. G. Leventis Gallery and the art psychotherapists Marina Ioannou and Eleni Petridou Bouriti (MA, MSc Art Psychotherapy), members of the Association of Art Therapists and Friends of Cyprus.
