How can a museum engage children and teens in a creative way?  Could it offer space for exploration through the body and movement?

Using the paintings of the A. G Leventis Gallery, we aim to cultivate the way children and teenagers view a museum. At the same time, we will explore methods of approach that could encourage this group to actively participate and view the museum as a place of interest. During the seminar examples and various activities will be presented.

Speaker: Maria Kamberis, Choreographer & Dance Instructor

Maria Kamberis is a Choreographer and a Dance Instructor. She is the founder of Maria Kamberis Dance Studio and also of the professional dance team Selas Dance Company. She is also the coordinator of the first dance department at the Private Forum School. Since 2018 she has been an academic collaborator at the University of Nicosia at the Music and Dance Department. She is a member and chairman at the Dancehouse Lefkosia.
