 The A. G. Leventis Gallery is getting ready to open its doors again to the public this autumn. Until then, fill your summer with art by joining in our three new programmes, which will run throughout July and August.
 
Stay in touch with three new programmes
The A. G. Leventis Gallery remains in constant contact with the authorities in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic in Cyprus and internationally is taking all the relevant measures to ensure the health and safety of its visitors and employees. We are also keeping in touch with our visitors through the programmes ‘AGLG on Your Screen’, ‘Rendez-vous with Art’ and ‘Summer School’. Our policy – reflected through these programmes – is to remain positive and to stay
in touch through the power of art. 

AGLG on Your Screen

With the ‘AGLG on Your Screen’ programme, we stay connected through Collection insights, virtual tours, an online summer school, music nights and other events, keeping you in contact with the grandeur of European Art from your screens. Through our social media and YouTube channel, the curators, museum educators and collaborators of the A. G. Leventis Gallery will inform and entertain you, presenting issues related to our Collections, our artists and our visual wanderings in European Art.

Rendez-vous with Art

For this special ‘Rendez-vous with Art’, you can book a private visit / guided tour at the Gallery. The guided tour will be free of charge, with a five-person limit and will be conducted by the curators and museum educators. Check out our website for the dates and times available. Our summer guided tour theme is ‘A Journey through the Seas of Art’.

Summer School – Travelling through Art

For this unusual summer, we are offering our young friends an exciting trip through art to different times and places all over the world! Discover the magic of the Venice carnival, enjoy a delicious crêpe with Boudin in Trouville, sail on the crystal blue waters of the Ionian Sea, dance in the streets of Havana!

Every Wednesday in July and August we will travel with you to a new place inspired by the paintings and objects in the Gallery. Each video will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Stay tuned to the Gallery’s social media, where we will be posting our destinations and the materials we will need for our activities.
