The A. G. Leventis Gallery in the context of Wednesday's Monthly Lectures is pleased to welcome Achilleas Demetriades for a lecture on the topic "Artist's Resale Right (Droit de Suite)". The purpose of the lecture is to inform the public regarding the application of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights with respect to the artist’s resale right.

Achilleas Demetriades has been practising as a lawyer at Lellos P. Demetriades Law Office LLC since 1988, where he is a partner. He has developed a wide-ranging practice that includes intellectual property law, competition law and human rights. Since 2015 he has been the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association and a founding member of the ‘TRUTH NOW’ NGO in Cyprus as well as the Cyprus Copyright Association. He has been named a “Leading Individual” in the EU & Competition fields as well as Intellectual Property field by the Legal 500.
