With the help of the illustrator Natasa Charalambous, the children are invited to experience and engage with the exhibits of the temporary exhibition Adamantios Diamantis: The Agonies of an Artist through the creative technique of animation. They will be encouraged to observe and discuss the meanings and stories that paintings can reveal to us and imagine new possibilities and forms that the works can take through animation.

During the workshop, they will be introduced to the basics of animation and will work on black-and-white versions of the paintings to create their own individual short clip animations. Through the play of colour, form and story, they will be able to express their own ideas, interpretations and ways of seeing the original artwork.
