'Gen Paul: A Day Full of Expression'

Join us at the A. G. Leventis Gallery for a day of splashes of colour, fun and unique silkscreen prints!

Our main inspiration will be the paintings of the artist Gen Paul found at the entrance to the Impressionist Room in the Paris Collection. Together we will learn about the painter and his work and discuss how he created the strange textures in his paintings, but also how he interpreted and transformed abstract shapes into recognisable figures and themes.

After, in Renoir’s Workshop we will try to recreate Gen Paul’s Expressionist style by printing abstract forms. Then, on top of these abstract forms we will work to craft our own paintings inspired by the painter’s works!
