He studied painting at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and had his first solo exhibition at the age of 17. His main subject is compositions of striking young women in a style influenced by the Nabis and using intense, vibrant colours. He has also illustrated several books and designed tapestries.
