OBVERSE:

Coat of arms of the Ottoman Empire; El-Ghazi to the right of the tughra; regnal year in Arabic below; all within an ornamented border with stars and floral motifs. Legend: Tughra in Arabic: Abdüalhamid Han bin Abdülmecid el-muzaffer daima. El-Ghazi; 27, meaning ‘Abdul Hamid Khan, the son of Abdulmejid, victorious forever. The Victorious; regnal year 27’.

REVERSE:

Arabic legend; denomination in Arabic (500) above the mint name Kostantiniye, accession date in Arabic below (1293 AH); all within an ornamented border with stars and floral motifs.
