Actor means light - Art History meets theatre

This year the A. G. Leventis Gallery, in collaboration with theatre educator Loukia Pierides, is offering an exceptional two-week summer programme introducing children to the magical world of art and theatre.

Using the paintings in the A. G. Leventis Gallery Collections as inspirational starting points, the participants will engage in a wide range of theatrical and craft activities, including costume and set design, character creation, and voice and movement exercises, among others. They will be introduced to the history of theatre and will work together to create their own play, which will be performed for their parents at the end of the summer school. An ideal way for children to find their own voice, gain confidence and develop their imagination.
