AGLC 22 @ A.G Leventis Gallery

Polychronis Lembessis was a pioneer in showcasing the Greek countryside. His paintings Garden with a Female Figure (see AGLG 21) and Guard House near a Shore are examples of landscapes that describe with colour and light the atmosphere and mood of nature without mythologising and through a restrained spontaneity.
